Change of plans

Today was the first day to film. I started off by filming my group member sitting at a desk focusing the camera on her shoes. We did end up filming our scenes in order of continence instead of the order of our story board. The scenes will be edited into the original order later on in the process. I filmed the classroom scene multiple times to make sure it was perfect. Following this the idea of switching our volleyball scene came up. This was due to a change we thought would be best for our commercial. We swapped the volleyball scene for a scene of me running up the media center stairs. So I ran up the stairs as my group member filmed my shoes while I ran. This scene only took a few tries. This part of the commercial highlights the everyday use of converse. After this came the hardest scene for us to film today. I walked out to the track with my group member for this scene. My job in this scene was filming. I had to chase lily’s feet as she sprinted on the track. This took many t

First Scene: During the first scene we will be filming the converse as our actor kicks a soccer ball at the camera. This scene will take place outside on the field. This will show one of the many uses for converse. This will be a full shot.     Second scene: We will film the converse as our actor sprints. This will take place on the track. This sconce provides another athletic example of converse. This will be a close up shot to the feet.   Third scene: This will be a full shot. Shot in the gym. The actor will be playing volley ball, representing converses versatility.    Fourth scene: This will be another full shot. This will be shot in a classroom, our actor will be acting as if they are taking class. This shows the comfort in converse.    Fifth scene: This scene will be the converse logo and slogan with an upbeat song playing. This is to advertise the brand and make it stick out. *Each scene will be 6 seconds long

Planning blog   Props: my group is producing a converse commercial therefore, our main prop will be converse and other props may include a soccer ball and/or volleyball.   Costumes: We will have one main actor who will wear converse and different outfits such as athletic clothes/athletic uniform and casual clothes to represent the different uses of converse.    Schedule: Research and planning: 9/22/21 Storyboard – 10/28/21 Filming Blogs – 9/30/21-10/4/21  Editing Blogs – 10/6/21- 10/8/21 Commercial – 10/821 Reflection – 10/13/21   Location list: We will utilize the soccer goal, the gym, potentially the weight room, and common areas such as the halls, stairs and patio. Using these different locations show the range of things converse can be used in.   Back up plan: The only reason we would need to change our plan would be if weather is not permitting. The only thing this would affect would be the soccer clip we would just film this in the gym.

Research blog   My group choose to do a converse commercial. These commercials typically consist of people doing different activities in converse sneakers. ·       Costumes can range anywhere from athletic wear to casual comfy clothing (as converse have many different purposes). ·       Props include converse products primarily their sneakers.  ·       The appearance is usually comfort and everyday wear.  ·       The score throughout the commercial is typically upbeat, uplifting and motivating. 1.      Conventions and codes in converse commercial include the converse logo and slogan “shoes are boring, wear sneakers”. The meaning behind this slogan falls from the previous slogan “shoes keep it clean sneakers get dirty”.  2.      In converse commercials, the props are always focused on the converse logo, typically located on the shoes. This is to advertise the brand to the audience.   3.      The commercials typically use ethos- since converse is such a big brand they will use differen

My group partner for this project is Lily Oneil. I choose to work with lily on this commercial for many reasons. I have known lily for quite awhile and appreciate her work ethic. I have always gotten along with lily well when it comes to school and other situations. I think between the two of us we will be able to share our strengths and create a great project. We both are able to take responsibility in completing our shares of work. Personality wise we get along very well and will also be able to make this assignment fun while also getting the work done. I personally think this parring will go well as we also communicate very well. We will be able to help each other out and keep each other on task. We are both familiar when it comes to different types of filming, editing and coming up with good ideas. We both take our grades and school as a priority. Therefore, the work ethic between the two of us should be quality work. Most of our interest line up well. With that being said I
