  Creative Critical Reflection 1.      How does your product use or challenge conventions AND how does it represent social groups or issues?    Our product gives a representation of the many purposes of the shoe brand converse with a positive feeling. Our product shows parts of all different types of ways different people could use converse.      2. How does your product engage with audiences AND how would it be distributed as a real media text?  Our product engages with the audience by incorporating multiple different activities. As well as uplifting our audience. We did this by incorporating many different activities so most of the audience can relate. We also made it so our music was upbeat and happy matching the theme of our video.      3.      How did your production skills develop throughout this project?  I learned through trial and error. While filming different scenes we had to do many do overs. Each scene we would have to re-do I learned and applied my corrections to the next

  Today is October 12th, 2021. Tomorrow is the official due date of our commercial. All final edits and tweaks have been made. I really enjoyed working on this project. Filming was my favorite part. Me and my group partner worker really well together and put in our best efforts. I am looking forward to more upcoming projects and learning new things. This project helped me get a better understanding of the different aspects of film. There is not anything I think I would do different next time besides improve. I am excited to see whats in store for the future regarding this class.  

  Today is October, 8th. Today our class time was dedicated to editing our project and finishing up. I started off by watching our commercial. I made a few critiques and notes on what need some tweaking. The first thing I noticed is our second scene was too long. I then watched as my group member trimmed that clip about two seconds shorter.   Our commercial was three minutes long because the music was too long so that was also trimmed making our commercial 30 seconds. I then watched some of the other groups commercial. I enjoyed seeing all the other ideas and creativity. This showed all the different possibilities and ideas. After This we continued to watch our commercial over and over to make sure it was good. We got complements from other groups. A lot of the complements were regarding our choice of music. That was also my favorite part of our commercial. We noticed our commercial would glitch at a certain part every time we played it. This issue was resolved when the commercial wa

Editing blog  Today is Wednesday, October 6th. Our class time today was dedicated to editing our commercial. I personally was not comfortable with editing. Therefor my job for today was mainly moral support and feedback. I began by taking a seat next to my group partner. After doing so it was time to arrange our clips in the order of our story board. I then shared any of the scenes I had on my phone with my partner. I watched as my group partner Imported them into iMovie and arranged them. For our commercial we used iMovie to edit. Next I listened to music options as my group member played many different choices. After listening to about 20 different options it was narrowed down to a few options. It was decided to use the song Walking on sunshine. This was a great choice because we are using a shoe brand and the song says “walking on sunshine”.  The next thing I did was watched as my group member imported the music into the iMovie.   Filming blog: Part two        Today  is  Monday, October 4th.   Today  in class we were given our second day to film. Durning this time me and my group partner continued our last bits of filming we had left. For this scene, my job was to film. This scene would consist of a clip of our actor dribbling the soccer ball and then kicking it. This scene took place outside on the football field. I had to film from a low angle in order to capture the converse as the main focus. This scene represented the diversity in the wear of converse. Filming this clip did not take more than three tries. Considering we had quite some time left we came up with another Idea. While we were outside we found a football, so we had an idea to film an extra scene just in case one of ours did not fit the commercial appropriately. For this, we had a friend film while I held the football and my group member punted it. once again focusing on the use of the shoes. we have not decided it we will use this scene yet but
