Today is Wednesday, October 6th. Our class time today was dedicated to editing our commercial. I personally was not comfortable with editing. Therefor my job for today was mainly moral support and feedback. I began by taking a seat next to my group partner. After doing so it was time to arrange our clips in the order of our story board. I then shared any of the scenes I had on my phone with my partner. I watched as my group partner Imported them into iMovie and arranged them. For our commercial we used iMovie to edit. Next I listened to music options as my group member played many different choices. After listening to about 20 different options it was narrowed down to a few options. It was decided to use the song Walking on sunshine. This was a great choice because we are using a shoe brand and the song says “walking on sunshine”.  The next thing I did was watched as my group member imported the music into the iMovie. After that I helped my group member make the last clip for our commercial. This was a clip of a black scene that said “its like walking on sunshine” with the converse logo and their slogan. Next, I picked out a font for the text part of the last clip. After this I watched my group partner combine all the clips with the music. I then watched the raw uncut footage all together. It turned out well and just needs a little bit of editing left. Overall today was a pretty easy day work wise for the commercial.

       Here is our finished film. I am so excited to share this with you all. I had so much fun working on this project. I learned plenty of new things. I enjoyed working as a group. Each and everyone of us had our strengths and weaknessess. I cannot wait to apply the skills I learned in the process to future projects. I will continue to reasearch and learn new things about film as it is very interesting to me. Overall I am satisfied with how it turned out. And I cannot wait to see how I can continue to improve.

    Props:  Props wise, for our music video to Kid Cudis pursuit of happiness the main prop we will use will be a car. We may After discussing our music video idea, we will not need many props, we will mainly be utilizing our surroundings in our locations. For one of the scenes, we decided we will film at the beach for this we would include a towel. Another scene will be filmed in a house for these scenes we will be using props such as a couch.    Costumes: In our music video, there will be two main actors. For the scenes shot in the locations such as the car and house they will have on casual clothing.
