Our Film

 


    Here is our finished film. I am so excited to share this with you all. I had so much fun working on this project. I learned plenty of new things. I enjoyed working as a group. Each and everyone of us had our strengths and weaknessess. I cannot wait to apply the skills I learned in the process to future projects. I will continue to reasearch and learn new things about film as it is very interesting to me. Overall I am satisfied with how it turned out. And I cannot wait to see how I can continue to improve.

          Today we dedicated our time to editing. I personally do not know how to edit. This is why my part of the music video was mainly the acting and filming aspects. The person who will be editing will be Ayden. This leaves the rest of our group there for moral support and feedback. The first thing I did was make sure Ayden had all of the correct clips, since we filmed on my phone. Next, we discussed the plot of our music video. This was so we could arrange the clips in order. For our music video the platform we used to edit was iMovie. Next, we listened to the part of the song we would be using. Next, I watched as Ayden added the song to iMovie over the clips. This was not the end of the editing there still more that had to be done. I then watched as Ayden trimmed each individual scene. Movie: The Women in the Window  1.      How many titles are displayed during the opening sequences to the film ? Which ones? -In the opening sequence of the film there are 3 different titles that appear. It begins with the studio the movie is presented by, then a black screen with red letters “NETFLIX and FOX 2000 PICTURES present”, and then the title of the movie appears over the film in red.   2. What connotations do the images carry?  -The connotations of the title images carry are mysterious, chilling, and bold.   3. How is genre reinforced through symbolic and technical codes from the outset?  -The genre is reinforced though the title by the emphasis on the words as well as the color.
