Editing blog part two

 


Today is October, 8th. Today our class time was dedicated to editing our project and finishing up. I started off by watching our commercial. I made a few critiques and notes on what need some tweaking. The first thing I noticed is our second scene was too long. I then watched as my group member trimmed that clip about two seconds shorter.   Our commercial was three minutes long because the music was too long so that was also trimmed making our commercial 30 seconds. I then watched some of the other groups commercial. I enjoyed seeing all the other ideas and creativity. This showed all the different possibilities and ideas. After This we continued to watch our commercial over and over to make sure it was good. We got complements from other groups. A lot of the complements were regarding our choice of music. That was also my favorite part of our commercial. We noticed our commercial would glitch at a certain part every time we played it. This issue was resolved when the commercial was exported from imovie. After this our commercial was officially complete. I watched it again and all the issues were resolved such as the glitching. Overall I am excited to turn in this project. In the end our commercial turned out how we expected and   the results were exceptional.

       Here is our finished film. I am so excited to share this with you all. I had so much fun working on this project. I learned plenty of new things. I enjoyed working as a group. Each and everyone of us had our strengths and weaknessess. I cannot wait to apply the skills I learned in the process to future projects. I will continue to reasearch and learn new things about film as it is very interesting to me. Overall I am satisfied with how it turned out. And I cannot wait to see how I can continue to improve.

    Props:  Props wise, for our music video to Kid Cudis pursuit of happiness the main prop we will use will be a car. We may After discussing our music video idea, we will not need many props, we will mainly be utilizing our surroundings in our locations. For one of the scenes, we decided we will film at the beach for this we would include a towel. Another scene will be filmed in a house for these scenes we will be using props such as a couch.    Costumes: In our music video, there will be two main actors. For the scenes shot in the locations such as the car and house they will have on casual clothing.
