Group blog

               I am very excited for this music video project. For this project, I have a completely new group. I will be working with Trevor Regli, Denton Greenleaf, and Ayden Marshall. This is much different than a group I would normally choose. I choose to work with this group optionally and am open to their thoughts/ideas and opinions. I am excited to see what we can come up with as a group. Based off of this groups previous work I really enjoy their creativity, effort and sense of humor. This group consists of many different personalities. Trevor is always upbeat and energetic but will get the work done and put in the effort when needed. Denton, I have known for a while, he does like to joke around however when it comes down to the work he is smart. Ayden from what I have seen is very creative and has a good work ethic and puts in lots of effort. I feel like we all listen and respect each other’s opinions and ideas very well. All of our personalities are quite different so it will be interesting to see how things play out in the end. We have had conversations on our ideas and all have agreed on relatively the same things. I think it is very important we all communicate well and make sure each one of our voices is heard. I think this will be a fresh start of a group. It is important the we enjoy this project while also staying on task. I am most excited about working with this group because I will get to hear new creative ideas from a view I have not heard before. For editing and filming aspects of this project we have people in this group capable of doing so, including myself. We have a range of creativity to explore which is also exciting. Overall, I can’t wait to see what’s in store for this group and project.

       Here is our finished film. I am so excited to share this with you all. I had so much fun working on this project. I learned plenty of new things. I enjoyed working as a group. Each and everyone of us had our strengths and weaknessess. I cannot wait to apply the skills I learned in the process to future projects.             My name is Sydni Lavalle-Stablein. I was born in Florida and have lived there my whole life. I am currently a sophomore at Fort Lauderdale high school. I also have a twin brother. I have been in dance since the age of two and have been competing for eight years now. I try my best to balance out school and my everyday life. Things I like to do include, going to the gym, hanging out with friends, traveling, dance and some types of art. One of the things I feel take priority in my life is surrounding myself with things that make me happy and a better person. Editing blog

          Today we dedicated our time to editing. I personally do not know how to edit. This is why my part of the music video was mainly the acting and filming aspects. The person who will be editing will be Ayden. This leaves the rest of our group there for moral support and feedback. The first thing I did was make sure Ayden had all of the correct clips, since we filmed on my phone. Next, we discussed the plot of our music video. This was so we could arrange the clips in order. For our music video the platform we used to edit was iMovie. Next, we listened to the part of the song we would be using. Next, I watched as Ayden added the song to iMovie over the clips. This was not the end of the editing there still more that had to be done. I then watched as Ayden trimmed each individual scene.
