Group blog

    I am very nervous and excited to work on this project. For this project, I have a relatively the same group. I will be working with Trevor Regli, Ben Polsky, and Ayden Marshall. This is somewhat of a different group I worked with before. I choose to work with this group optionally and am open to their thoughts/ideas and opinions. I am excited to see what ideas we will come up with and what we can create. Based off of this groups previous work I really enjoy their creativity, effort and commitment. This group consists of a variety of personalities. Trevor is always upbeat and energetic but will get the work done and put in the effort when needed. Ben, I have never worked with before. From my experiences around Ben he is very kind, smart and funny. I am excited to have Ayden in my group again. From our last project Ayden’s creativity, ideas and editing really helped bring our music video to life. We all listen and respect each other’s opinions and ideas very well. All of our personalities are quite different so it will be interesting to see what we can come up with as a group. We have talked and brainstormed with ideas and so far, it is promising. I think it is very important we all communicate well and make sure each one of our voices is heard. I think this will be a good group as it switches things up a bit. It is important the we also have fun while creating this project while also staying on task. I am most excited about working with this group because I get to work with people who I know I work well with while also working with someone new. For editing and filming aspects of this project we have people in this group capable of doing so, including myself. We have a range of personalities to explore which is also exciting. Overall, I am looking forward to working with this group.

       Here is our finished film. I am so excited to share this with you all. I had so much fun working on this project. I learned plenty of new things. I enjoyed working as a group. Each and everyone of us had our strengths and weaknessess. I cannot wait to apply the skills I learned in the process to future projects.             My name is Sydni Lavalle-Stablein. I was born in Florida and have lived there my whole life. I am currently a sophomore at Fort Lauderdale high school. I also have a twin brother. I have been in dance since the age of two and have been competing for eight years now. I try my best to balance out school and my everyday life. Things I like to do include, going to the gym, hanging out with friends, traveling, dance and some types of art. One of the things I feel take priority in my life is surrounding myself with things that make me happy and a better person. Some facts about me include my favorite color is pink, I love to shop and spend my money, I have a growing interest in cars and my favorite food is pasta with butter. Editing blog

          Today we dedicated our time to editing. I personally do not know how to edit. This is why my part of the music video was mainly the acting and filming aspects. The person who will be editing will be Ayden. This leaves the rest of our group there for moral support and feedback. The first thing I did was make sure Ayden had all of the correct clips, since we filmed on my phone. Next, we discussed the plot of our music video. This was so we could arrange the clips in order. For our music video the platform we used to edit was iMovie. Next, we listened to the part of the song we would be using. Next, I watched as Ayden added the song to iMovie over the clips. This was not the end of the editing there still more that had to be done. I then watched as Ayden trimmed each individual scene.
