AICE Media Studies

       Here is our finished film. I am so excited to share this with you all. I had so much fun working on this project. I learned plenty of new things. I enjoyed working as a group. Each and everyone of us had our strengths and weaknessess. I cannot wait to apply the skills I learned in the process to future projects. I will continue to reasearch and learn new things about film as it is very interesting to me. Overall I am satisfied with how it turned out. And I cannot wait to see how I can continue to improve. 

Finally! Today is the day. Today we get to sit back and enjoying our film. There is nothing more to do. Do today we decided to all watch our film one last time and enjoy it.     I also showed it to my family. I screen mirrored it to the tv so they could get the full effect. They all enjoyed it so much. The complemented the editing and the parts I was in. Although they enjoyed every aspect.     I felt relieved that we we’re finally done. I am excited for everyone at Cambridge to watch our film. I hope they enjoy it and get the thrill aspect of it. I had so much fun working on this project. Personally my favorite part was brainstorming.      This part was fun because we got to use our creativity. I loved coming up with the endless possibilities. I am happy with how our film ended up. The process was lots of work but was well worth it in the end. I learned so many new things and gained new experiences. 

We we’re finally done reviewing. We have watched the film endless times taking notes. We had also gotten opinions from other people. It was really helpful to get other opinions so we could be optimistic. This was also so that in case we missed something someone else could catch that mistake.      Coming from this no one had any suggestions or found any issues with our film. This was great. I was so excited that our film had turned out how we had hoped. Originally we did take a couple of notes when watching the film. When watching the film the added sound was not loud enough. This meant it did not give the full effect it was supposed to. So what we did was bring the original sound to 50% and the added sound to 50%. Originally we had it at 65% 35%. Once we brought it to 50-50 the full effect of the sound was there. The sound was really important to our film. This is because our film is in the thriller genre. And the sound we used is what enhanced the thrill aspect of our film. That’s the

Time for the finishing touches. Today is the day the changes from our review would take place. All final edits and tweaks have been made. This was all done by Ayden. I really enjoyed working on this film. My favorite part was documenting this project through the blogs. My group members and I worked well together and put in lots of dedication. This project helped me get a better understanding of more aspects of film that I had not explored yet. There is not anything I think I would do different next time besides pick a different group. This has nothing to do with my group I just like switching it up.     I then watched some of the other groups films. I loved seeing all the different films and creative ideas. This showed all the different possibilities and ideas. We let other people watch our film and give feedback. Finally we are coming to an end! We were complete. Almost complete, it was time to review. This was the easy part. Although it was easy it was crucial.     This part took lots of focus and communication. I started off my day by when our film was sent in the group chat. I watched it myself and took a few mental notes but nothing to specific yet. We all were going to review it later on in the day. I thought the film looked great so far before any changes. We all sat down and watched the film together without making any critics the first time.     Our group decided we really liked it so far. The second time we watched it we took some notes on what needed to be fixed. I noticed the added sound wasn’t loud enough. I also noticed that some of the transitions could’ve be tweaked. Those were the only things I noticed that i thought should be fixed.     My group members also only picked out a couple of things to change. We all agreed on the changes that need to be made. Today was another editing day. Today would be our last bit of overall editing. This means that by the end of editing today we would have somewhat of a film done. Without the finishing touches our film would be done with the first round of editing. I started off by watching what we already had done. It looked great so far. I had to send the rest of the scenes we filmed to Ayden. Ayden is the one editing because he has the most experience. So I watched as he edited and took notes. I also made sure to pay attention to any mistakes that might be made. We all helped make decisions when it came to editing and gave our feedback. I enjoyed this process. Since the pressure was not on me. We all talked a lot about how we wanted the final film to come out. I really liked how our film was coming out so far. I felt like it really fit in the thriller category. The drone background sound really added to the thrill of the film. At this point all the scenes had been trimmed and aligned. Now all we have
